    35èmes journées de l'hypertension artérielle

    From 17 December 2015 to 18 December 2015

    Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is a great pleasure to extend you a cordial invitation to the “Journées de l’Hypertension Arteriélle” – International Meeting of the French Society of Hypertension – which will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris from 17 to 18 December 2015, for the 35th consecutive year.

As a chronic illness, arterial hypertension represents the most common disease in France and in the rest of the world, as it affects one out of four of the world’s adults!

Hypertension concerns not only cardiologists, nephrologists, internists or general practitioners, but it involves each specialization whose objective is to improve screening, evaluation and blood pressure control on population, the only way to substantially reduce all kind of complications related to hypertension, which still represents the main cause of death worldwide.

During this 9th International Meeting of the French Society of Hypertension many key opinion leaders will be present, sharing their experience and teaching how to better deal with hypertensive patients.

All health professionals interested in hypertension are welcome. French Private and Hospital Doctors who wish, have the opportunity to validate their “DPC” sessions.

The program will embrace all topics related to high blood pressure, from basic research to clinical through epidemiology, pharmacology as well the new therapies (renal artery denervation, stimulation of baroreceptors, use of connected tools …). An even greater emphasis will be given to workshops, covering every aspect of this disease, from diagnosis to complications management.

Moreover, this year our supervisory authorities will be present with the Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie (National Health Insurance) and the Haute Autorité de Santé (Health Authority), that will be our partners on some projects, which you will discover in preview during the Meeting.

We look forward to seeing you in Paris.

    Jacques BLACHER, SFHTA President

    Jean-Jacques MOURAD, Scientific Secretary
